Here is a page that’s all about Three Days Grace. I’ll include some music videos and lyrics and what the songs by them really mean.

  1. Animal I Have Become Lyrics:
    I can’t escape this hell
So many times I’ve tried But I’m still caged inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
    I can’t control myself
So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal (This animal, this animal)
    I can’t escape myself (I can’t escape myself)
So many times I’ve lied (So many times I’ve lied)
    But there’s still rage inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
    I can’t control myself
So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
Somebody help me through this nightmare
    I can’t control myself
Somebody wake me from this nightmare
    I can’t escape this hell
(This animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal)
So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it’s not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal (This animal I have become)

This song is about a guy who is trying to escape himself. He is trying to find himself. He is going through the dark phase of life. I recently went through this stage; I’m not sure if I’m finished going through it, but the feeling can just tear you apart. You want to find who you really are and you can’t control yourself. This man is trying to convince himself that he really isn’t what he thinks he is: an animal. He is screaming that somebody help him find himself and tell him who he really is.

  2. NEVER TOO LATE SONG LYRICS AND MEANING
    This world will never be
    What I expected
    And if I don’t belong
    Who would have guessed it
    I will not leave alone
    Everything that I own
To make you feel like it’s not too late
    It’s never too late

    Even if I say
    It’ll be alright
    Still I hear you say
You want to end your life
    Now and again we try
    To just stay alive
    Maybe we’ll turn it around
    ‘Cause it’s not too late
    It’s never too late

    No one will ever see
    This side reflected
    And if there’s something wrong
    Who would have guessed it
    And I have left alone
    Everything that I own
    To make you feel like
    It’s not too late
    It’s never too late

    Even if I say
    It’ll be alright
    Still I hear you say
You want to end your life
    Now and again we try
    To just stay alive
    Maybe we’ll turn it around
    ‘Cause it’s not too late
    It’s never too late

    The world we knew
    Won’t come back
    The time we’ve lost
    Can’t get back
    The life we had
    Won’t beat us again

    This world will never be
    What I expected
    And if I don’t belong

    Even if I say
    It’ll be alright
    Still I hear you say
You want to end your life
    Now and again we try
    To just stay alive
    Maybe we’ll turn it around
    ‘Cause it’s not too late
    It’s never too late
    Maybe we’ll turn it around
    ‘Cause it’s not too late
It’s never too late (It’s never too late)
    It’s not too late
    It’s never too late

This song was a bit confusing to me, but just like any other song with true meaning, you have to look deep within it to find its precious secret. I guess this song just means when all is collapsing, you can get through it. The world will never be perfect, who cares if I’m not what the world wants me to be, but I’m not going to give up just to show you how cruel the world, and life at times, can be. Sometimes when I listen to this song, I can feel its emotion grasping at me. Just close your eyes and listen closely to the elements of the song. Focus on Gontier’s voice, the lyrics, especially, adapt yourself to the rhythm of the percussion–is it slow or fast?–, if you can, focus on the bass, and the riffs in the song, emphasizing the words in song. Can you feel the atmosphere of it? It’s sad, but somewhat lifting at the same time. The music video itself portrays the same feel. This song is one of the songs that makes the list of beautiful yet hurtful songs.
